Rob Lowe Not Filling Charlie Sheen’s ‘Two and a Half Men’ Shoes - Ok Magazine Posted: Even though Charlie Sheen endorsed Rob Lowe, calling him "a beautiful actor," to replace him on Two and a Half Men, it looks like the actor will not be able to take on the role as he is under contract with NBC's Parks and Recreation. Parks and Recreation executive producer Michael Schur was adamant that Rob could not take on the Men role, explaining during the Parks panel at Paley Fest, via The Hollywood Reporter, that the actor had a "multi-year contract" to remain on the comedy.
